This is from a customer that was kind enough to share his carboy explosion. When I see these I just think one thing, “epic”. If you are curious to what type of beer it was, it was an Irish Red with WLP023.

It’s kinda funny, lol. But sucks at the same time. That’s typically why I’ve used a bucket for primary fermentation and switch to the carboy later. Just gives me a little more space in the bucket to prevent this from happening.

True true. It was a 5 gallon carboy I believe. I was envious how vigorous that yeast was though. Culture that bad boy up.
